William Grant Tank & Vessel, Inc. is looking to hire an experienced Quality Assurance Specialist to join our production team.
Essential job duties:
- Adhere to all applicable governing codes, customer specifications, and company procedures
- Perform routine inspections and quality tests
- Address and discuss quality issues and proposed solutions with superiors
- Document quality assurance activities
- Act as liaison with third-party inspectors
- Perform weld tests for perspective and current employees
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field, preferred
- Certification, preferred
- Proven experience inspecting pressurized vessels
- Excellent math abilities and working knowledge of data analysis and statistical methods
- In-depth understanding of quality control procedures and relevant legal standards
- Familiar with ASME code
- MS Office proficiency
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings
- Knowledge of safety standards and willingness to use protective clothing
- Bilingual a must, English-Spanish
- Excellent communication skills, listening, comprehension and feedback
- Strong team building and decision-making
- High attention to detail
- Strong work ethic, and the ability to handle peak work times
Physical requirements:
