Position Summary
Reporting to the Associate Dean for Online & Executive Education, the temporary part-time Admissions Advisor will have a wide range of responsibilities to meet William & Mary Law School’s Master of Studies (MLS) program enrollment goals and objectives including, but not limited to:
- Coordinating the MLS admission application process using designated platforms such as ACES, Unite, and TargetX.; process and complete all applications; post decisions and scholarship; update all fields in ACES and Banner; Process, run, and mail all decision emails through designated platform such as ACES or Unite;
- Serving as the primary point of contact, responding to phone and email inquiries, and providing administrative support for the MLS team;
- Counseling prospective and admitted students; and,
- Completing special projects assigned by the Associate Dean for Online & Executive Education

Conditions of Employment
- This is a fully remote position with a flexible work schedule.
- This is a non-exempt position, eligible to receive overtime in accordance with the Fair Labor Standards Act. This position may be subject to overtime during high peak times, etc. as directed and approved by the supervisor.
- All hourly employees are subject to the limitations of the Virginia Manpower Control Program and total hours worked may not exceed, on average, 29 hours per week, over the course of a twelve month period beginning May 1 each year.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience;
- Working knowledge in the area of admissions or comparable.
- Demonstrates efficient planning and project management skills;
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite;
- Demonstrates outstanding organizational, administrative, and customer service skills;
- Demonstrates strong communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills for developing effective working relationships with a variety of internal and external constituents; and
- Experience working with confidential and sensitive information.
Preferred Qualifications
- Significant experience in Law school admissions or comparable
- Experience with law school admission practices as well as internal and external policies governing academic administration
- Experience with platforms such as ACES2, Unite, TargetX, Banner
