The Asian & Middle Eastern Studies Program at William & Mary, a public university of the Commonwealth of Virginia, invites applications for a 2-year, non-tenure track instructional position that will begin August 10, 2025.
We seek an anthropologist whose teaching and research focus on human rights, sustainable agriculture and agrarian movements, and South Asia and Asian diasporas in a broadly comparative perspective. We are particularly interested in candidates with extensive teaching experience and the ability to engage students through hands-on learning and field visits. The successful applicant will be expected to be an effective teacher and will have a [3-3] teaching load.
