William Penn Bank, a growing community bank is looking to hire a Banch Manager to join our retail branch network in Doylestown, PA.
Position Summary
Plans, direct and organize the sales, internally and externally and daily operational activities of the assigned branches, including development of new business, lending, servicing accounts and customer relations.
Job Responsibilities
· Knows all features and benefits of the bank’s products, programs and services in order to train and motivate staff to cross sell.
· Seeks out new prospects, both individual and business; actively helps plan and oversees activities of the branch to drive new business. Maintains certain customer contact data for marketing use.
· Implements and administers new products or programs, including sales promotion and incentive programs, encouraging staff member participation to stimulate new growth.
· Maintains communication between the branch and management through regular reporting and conducts regular staff meetings; succession planning
· Recruits, hires, assigns jobs, promotes, conducts performance appraisals, counsels, disciplines and terminates employees or makes recommendations on these issues which are given particular weight
· Represents the bank in business development efforts and at civic and community functions.
· Participates in Bank and Community events. Serves as a volunteer for the community a minimum of 8 hours annually and records hours in Continuity.
· Maintains prescribed security controls to protect against criminal or fraudulent activity and unnecessary risk or exposure.
· Follows compliance with traditional Bank policies and procedures. Adheres to compliance with the Bank Secrecy Act, OFAC and USA PATRIOT Act including accurate completion of CTR’s, Monetary Instrument logs, and reporting of suspicious activities to supervisor. Completes BSA and related compliance training annually.
· Adheres to proper regulatory compliance practices inherent in this position by following departmental policies and procedures, completing compliance training as assigned and questioning and areas of uncertainty regarding proper process
· Maintain registration through the NMLS and comply with all SAFE Act requirements
· Other duties assigned by the Manager or Supervisor.
Required Education, Experience and Skills
· College degree preferred
· Minimum 5 years banking experience
· Excellent communication skills
· Professional interpersonal skills to represent the Bank in a positive way in dealing with customers and other employees
· Previous Branch Management experience
· Working knowledge of personal computers and software, specifically Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point, as required to support job functions.
· Good analytical and problem-solving aptitude.
· Written and oral command of language.
· Ability to handle multiple tasks with minimal error.
· Ability to work with demanding timelines and schedules.
· Pursues continuing educational requirements as established in annual goals and review process.
