Experienced Landscape Team Leader
Position Title: Landscape Team Leader
General Description: Supports Williams Brothers operations by directing the activities of the landscape team, assures that team resources are used efficiently and ensuring that all details are completed by specifications while maintaining the highest quality of service. Represent the company, maintain and build its reputation and ensure its success by leading by example and focusing on its vision.
Report to: Landscape Team Supervisor
Supervises: Landscape team members
Knowledge, Experience and Other Requirements:
- Minimum education requirement is a high school diploma
- Valid driver’s license insurable by company agent
- Good oral and written communication skills, job planning and mechanical aptitude
- Ability to operate a variety of equipment such as mini excavator & tractor
- Basic knowledge of standard horticultural practices. Pruning shrubs, dead heading, installing plant material, spraying weeds, plant and insect identification
Primary Functions:
- Enforces safe work behavior and maintains safe work sites
- Working with the Landscape Supervisor to ensure job is completed in the most time efficient manner
- Operates a variety of equipment
- Will take responsibility/role of Landscape Team Supervisor when he/she is absent
- Assisting the Supervisor in making sure all tools and equipment are returned to shop at end of each work day
- Report all damaged/broken equipment to Supervisor
- Assisting team loading/unloading equipment and material, clean out truck/trailer by removing trash and debris
- Helps with snow removal in winter
- Maintain polite professional image on company time.
- Responds politely to client inquiries and work with supervisor
Salary:
- The starting pay depends on skills and abilities
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
