Job Summary
Williams College seeks a highly skilled and experienced professional to serve as the Assistant Vice President/Director of Operations for Institutional Diversity, Equity. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of diversity, equity, and inclusion matters and be able to represent the Office in various meetings.
As a member of the OIDEI leadership team, the AVP will work closely with the Vice President and other members of the team to develop strategies that promote inclusion and equity on campus and beyond. This includes collaborating with academic and administrative units to ensure the campus is an inclusive space where all students, faculty, and staff can thrive.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing programs and initiatives to promote diversity and inclusion
- Managing projects from inception to completion
- Utilizing data to assess constituents' needs
- Providing leadership to the executive administrator(s) and program coordinator(s)
We are seeking a collaborative and experienced professional who can excel in a diverse community and communicate effectively with various individuals, offices, and departments on campus. A bachelor's degree is required (advanced degree preferred), with a minimum of five years of relevant experience.
