You will also collaborate to build new contracts and solutions that benefit Williams and our customers. The ability to cultivate and nurture a network across functions, apply expertise in ways that are unique or innovative and influence others to gain support and dedication are keys to success!Your work will challenge you, and with our Core Values to guide you, you'll quickly learn and grow with us.Responsibilities / Expectations : Conducts market and customer analysis to identify potential greenfield business opportunities; analyzes and validates by generating new leads and prospectsCollaborates with internal business partners on proposals to acquire feedback and ensure alignment with proposed contract termsDevelops opinions and recommendations on basin, customer and competitor intelligence utilizing third party tools and publicationsDevelops strong and enduring high-level customer relationshipsMay mentor othersParticipates in tradeshows / exhibits to promote Williams brand and servicesCommunicates with investment banks to understand and evaluate potential transactions; assists with merger and acquisition processesSupports closure of opportunities that meet financial hurdles and strategic fitAnticipates and meets customer needsOther duties as assignedEducation / Years of Experience : Required : Bachelor's degree in business, engineering or related field and minimum of five (5) years' related experiencePreferred : MBAOther Requirements : Demonstrates excellent organizational / interpersonal skills and safety as the utmost priorityNeeds proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Application and PC skillsPrevious experience in the energy industryDemonstrates in-depth knowledge of commercial aspects of the energy industryDemonstrates in-depth knowledge of energy market fundamentals and economics including commodity pricing, basin market fundamentals and competitor strategies and actionsDemonstrates strong written and verbal communication skillsAbout Houston (Williams Tower Location) : Our Houston office is located in the Williams Tower, just steps from the Houston Galleria on Post Oak Boulevard, an area with more than 700 retailers, fine dining and hotels within two square miles.
