Job Overview
Williams & Company Communications, Inc., a local Managed IT Service Provider, is seeking a skilled IT Administrator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining our IT infrastructure, as well as those of our clients, ensuring optimal performance and security of IT systems. This role requires a strong understanding of various operating systems and experience with modern cloud services. The IT Administrator will play a crucial role in supporting our technical operations and enhancing our IT capabilities.
Duties
- Manage and maintain IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and cloud services.
- Implement and oversee system backups, disaster recovery plans, and security protocols.
- Install and configure computers, networking equipment, and servers.
- Providing technical assistance and support for incoming questions and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware.
- Responding to questions from customers seeking help either via email, in person, or over the phone.
- Walking customers through problem-solving processes to find root cause of system issues.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues related to operating systems and applications.
- Assist with implementation and support of VOIP phone systems.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in managing IT infrastructure in a professional environment.
- Knowlege of MSP Practices and use of RMM (Remote Monitoring and Management) Platforms
- Strong knowledge of operating systems (Windows, Linux) and virtualization technologies such as ESXi.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
- Ability to work independently.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
