Position Description
We are a growing Custom Home Builder looking for Journeyman Carpenters to join our team! Located on the island of Kauai, we design and build cutting-edge homes in one of the most beautiful tropical locations in the world!What do you need to be a Journeyman Carpenter with us?
- At least 6 years of experience in all phases of construction and carpentry
- A high level of competency in rough and finish carpentry
- A high degree of precision and attention to detail
- Ability to install framing, decking, cabinets, crown and base moldings, custom doors and windows, and all other finish and trim carpentry work
- A complete understanding of all construction techniques, as well as related code compliance
- Ability to read blueprints
- A complete set of carpentry tools
- A valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- A dependable, professional, and dedicated work ethic
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Hourly pay starting at $40 - $50 per hour. Pay is assessed based on relevant experience.
