Description
Fundamental Responsibilities
- Culture Champion - instills confidence in company missions and values, celebrates colleagues’ successes, and seeks out ways of bringing culture to life
- Manage human resources operations by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, coaching, and counseling team members
- Pre-screen applicants and make recommendations to hiring managers regarding potential candidates
- Design & implement company-wide onboarding program
- Create and deliver/facilitate leadership training programs in-person and virtually
- Develop strong relationships with local schools, universities and local community organizations
- Lead University Internship & Military Transition Programs
- Support management by providing human resources advice, counsel, and decisions pertaining to Employee Relations and all things Human Resources
- Lead, guide and execute team member survey and evaluation processes
- Guides management and employee actions by researching, developing, writing, and updating policies.
- Complies with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation.
- Manages and administers leave programs, including compliance with the Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA) and the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), ensuring adherence to federal, state, and company policies. Provides guidance to employees and managers on leave eligibility, accommodations, and documentation requirements.
- Source candidates using creative and effective outreach techniques, not limited to Social Media posts, holding hiring events on-site and attending local career fairs
- Research, schedule, and carry out recruiting events both on and off-site
- Create and distribute monthly newsletter

- Experience creating, facilitating/delivering training content to team members and leadership in both in-person and virtual environments
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Canva, Smart Sheet, Applicant Tracking systems (ATS), Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS), Paycom experience a plus!
- Strong recruiting skills in advertising positions and building partnerships with local organizations
- Proven ability to creatively problem-solve
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources preferred
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in human resources preferred
- SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP preferred
