Williams Lea is hiring for an EDGAR Specialist to work Monday to Friday 1st, 2nd or 3rd shift.

Do you have a keen eye to even the smallest of details? This position could be for you! In this role, you will be responsible for conversion, revision and submission of SEC compliant EDGAR documents.
Primary Responsibilities
- Conversion of documents into SEC compliant format
- Revise and distribute EDGAR documents per clients’ request
- Set up submission folders for filing purposes; verify form-type(s); validate filing codes; confirm documents meet SEC rule requirements; calculate filing fees and offsets where applicable; check funds availability
- Provide assistance to clients with EDGAR filing questions or matters
- Manage time and prioritize multiple tasks
Job Qualifications
- In-depth knowledge of various conversion tools
- Knowledge of HTML/ASCII/XML/iXBRL coding languages and techniques
- XBRL – general understanding of its purpose; know how to validate XBRL files using the SEC’s Previewer; know how to tag and include XBRL files in required form-types.
- Knowledge of SEC compliance filing requirements
- Ability to understand and apply existing rules and regulations of the SEC, and keep abreast of rule changes
- Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of contacts including regulatory staff, internal legal and support staff, and clients
- Work well with others in a team environment
- Ability to work effectively in stressful situations
