Job Description
The Senior Controls Engineer position plays a critical role in designing and implementing control systems for industrial automation projects. As a key member of the supply chain team, you will be responsible for developing standards, training documentation, and Standard Work Practices. Your expertise will be instrumental in ensuring seamless integration with existing systems and promoting continuous improvement across the organization.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you must have at least 10 years' experience in controls and automation, with expertise in Rockwell Software Studio5000 and Factory Talk View. Strong problem-solving skills and proficiency in commissioning conveyor parcel scanner systems using Sick, Cognex, Keyence, and Datalogic systems are essential. Additionally, you should possess knowledge of industrial control systems protocol, network topology/controls, and networking principles. Experience interfacing with Warehouse Control Systems (WCS) and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) is also required.
