As an Accounting Analyst II, you will play a crucial role in supporting accounting functions within our organization. Your responsibilities will include compiling and Interpreting financial Information for management decision making; as well as, looking for ways to optimize business processes through technology and automation, enhancing efficiency and reducing costs. An eye for improvement opportunities with the ability to tackle sophisticated problems are keys to success!

Responsibilities / Expectations :
- Performs assigned month-end activities including journal entries, account reconciliations, management reporting, SEC reporting and variance analysis
- Prepares, maintains and develops schedules, reports, and analyses for internal / external customers
- Provides requested documentation and clear explanations for both internal and external audit processes
- Participates as a project team member and a resource for colleagues with less experience
- Processes and analyzes significant amounts of data while identifying opportunities for process improvement with a focus on efficiency and automation
- Supports the regulated financial reporting function with the monthly close and the quarterly and year-end reporting processes
- Reviews contracts for Accounting Standards Codification 606 (ASC 606) implications
- Prepares and analyzes data for transportation and storage business which includes invoicing customers, recording revenue and handling related accounts receivables
- Provides support for rate case submission
- Other duties as assigned
