As an IT Business Systems Analyst III, you will act as a liaison between IT and the business to ensure an understanding of business requirements when crafting and implementing new IT systems and improving existing systems!

Responsibilities / Expectations :
- Engages with collaborators to understand business processes, identify GIS-related needs, and translate business needs into technical requirements for GIS applications and data
- Collaborates with developers and GIS specialists to design, develop, and implement GIS solutions and tests new GIS tools and features
- Ensures data accuracy, accessibility, functionality of GIS applications is optimized, solves problems and coordinates system updates and enhancements
- Records requirements, workflows, and procedures related to GIS solutions and provides training and support for users on GIS tools, data, and standard methodologies
- Acts as a liaison between IT, GIS teams, and business units, coordinating project timelines, and work to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and meet organizational needs
- Organizes meetings and workshops to capture feedback and communicate project status to collaborators; offers insights and recommendations on using GIS technology to improve business outcomes
- Other duties as assigned
