As an IT Business Systems Analyst IV, you will act as a liaison between IT and the business to ensure an understanding of business requirements when crafting and implementing new IT systems and improving existing systems. You will interact with others and resolve issues with IT support teams. We appreciate your new perspective on solutions for our ever-evolving IT needs!

You will optimize IT & OT Asset Management (ITAM & OTAM) processes by defining roles and responsibilities, establishing and ensuring adherence to processes. Additionally, you will lead transformation initiatives to enhance efficiency, compliance, and cost savings. You will influence teams, advocate for change, and guide stakeholders through continuous prioritization and business optimization daily.

Responsibilities / Expectations :

  • Acts as liaison between the IT development group and business units for the design and implementation of new systems and improvement of existing systems.
  • Serves as subject matter specialist and business partner between IT and business / end-user team(s)
  • Creates annual budget analysis and cost management for responsible application including projects, ongoing maintenance, support and licensing
  • Translates business requirements into technical specifications to formulate technical solutions that conform to operational standards
  • Conducts requirements gathering, user acceptance testing, and provides recommendations based on collected information
  • Ensures the maintenance, development and enhancement of existing application systems meet the organizational business objectives and IT standards
  • Remediates application system issues through appropriate troubleshooting, incident, change and problem management standards using ServiceNow
  • Evaluates, develops and implements new application systems and develops technical requirements following standards for software development lifecycle
  • Conducts business process analyses, needs assessments and preliminary cost / benefit analyses to align IT solutions with business initiatives
  • Identifies continuous improvement opportunities for cost reduction, avoidance and improved application performance
  • Modernizes, upgrades and conducts application health checks as the need arises to ensure system stability
  • Collaborates with assigned resources to handle project-related activities for assigned applications
  • Prepares recurring application dashboard metrics and reports to show analysis on specific key data points and provides cost transparency for applications, as requested
  • Configures ITAM platforms like Ivanti, ServiceNow, and Flexera with advanced knowledge
  • Utilizes asset discovery tools such as Claroty, SCCM, and Intune, understanding their impact on the asset management lifecycle
  • Manages asset lifecycle including inventory tracking, software license optimization, end-of-life planning, and integrates financial, contractual, and operational data into ITAM strategies
  • Other duties as assigned

Education / Years of Experience :

  • Required : High school diploma or GED and a minimum fifteen (15) years' IT experience, OR Associate's degree and a minimum ten (10) years' IT experience, OR Bachelor's degree in IT-related field and a minimum eight (8) years' IT experience
  • Other Requirements :

  • Demonstrates excellent organizational / interpersonal skills and safety as the utmost priority
  • Needs proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Application and PC skills
  • Preferred :  Five years of IT Asset Management experience covering best practices, strategic road mapping, and lifecycle management of hardware, software, and digital assets
  • Preferred : Certified as Certified IT Asset Manager (CITAM), ITIL Foundation, Certified Software Asset Manager (CSAM), or Project Management Professional (PMP)
