The Origination Rep Sr. is responsible for handling projects and transactions under minimal direction. A successful candidate has acquired a wide range of knowledge regarding the natural gas business and is capable of interacting with customers at all levels within our organization. Responsibilities/Expectations:
The Origination Rep Sr. is responsible for handling projects and transactions under minimal direction. Responsibilities/Expectations:
- Anticipates internal/external customer needs; assesses requirements and identifies resolutions to non-standard requests
- Accounts for projects or programs with moderate risks and resource requirements
- Identifies and estimates contributors to costs, accurately forecasts financial information, makes prudent decisions regarding expenditures, and uses financial and quantitative information to guide actions and performance
- Conducts research and analysis to identify, evaluate, recommend, and pursue new growth opportunities that will augment our existing business and expand business opportunities into other segments
- Benchmarks post-transaction operating results and assists in the development of acquisition long-range forecasts
- Demonstrates knowledge of commercial aspects of the energy industry; understands energy market fundamentals, trends, and economics across the industry
- Develops opinions and challenges recommendations on basin, customer and competitor intelligence based off third party tools and publications, and coordinates with investment banks to understand and evaluate potential transactions
- Other duties as assigned
- Required: Bachelors degree in Business, Engineering, or related area of study; a minimum seven (7) years' related experience
- Preferred: MBA
- Demonstrates excellent organizational/interpersonal skills and safety as the utmost priority
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications and PC skills
- Knowledge of upstream, midstream, or downstream assets
- Experience with asset development
