Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and dynamic Clinical Nurse Manager to lead our Ambulatory Surgery team. In this critical role, you will integrate the nursing process to enhance patient care, provide mentorship to nursing staff, and ensure compliance with best practices and regulatory standards. Your leadership will inspire a culture of excellence and compassionate care within our facility.
This position is eligible for a sign on bonus of up to $10,000 and relocation of up to $5,000 for those that qualify!
What You Will Do:
- Patient Care Coordination: Oversee the management of patient care delivery, ensuring it aligns with safety standards and quality outcomes.
- Clinical Expertise: Utilize your advanced nursing knowledge to provide hands-on support and ensure staff competency in a comprehensive range of services.
- Policy and Compliance: Monitor and update unit policies and procedures to reflect current regulations, conducting audits and providing timely feedback.
- Collaboration: Build strong relationships with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to champion patient care and implement evidence-based practices.
- Budget Management: Participate in budget planning and monitoring, ensuring optimal resource allocation and compliance with financial guidelines.
- Staff Development: Actively engage in hiring, training, and supporting team members while fostering a positive work environment that promotes staff retention and satisfaction.
- Community Engagement: Represent Riverside Health System in community initiatives, linking patient needs with local health endeavors and organizations.
Qualifications:

Education:
- Nursing program graduate (Required)
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (Preferred)
- Master’s Degree in Nursing or related field (Preferred)

Experience:
- Relevant nursing experience (Required)
- Experience in operating room nursing preferred
- Progressive leadership experience (Preferred)

Licenses and Certifications:
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensed in Virginia (Required)
- CPR/BLS Certification (Required)
