Job Summary:
We are looking for enthusiastic and dependable individuals to officiate youth flag football games. As a referee, you will be responsible for enforcing the rules of the game, ensuring player safety, and promoting a positive and fun environment for all participants.
Key Responsibilities:
- Officiate youth flag football games fairly and consistently.
- Ensure a safe and sportsmanlike environment for players, coaches, and spectators.
- Communicate effectively with coaches, players, and parents regarding rules and game procedures.
- Keep track of the game clock and score.
- Enforce league rules and regulations while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Handle disputes and conflicts in a professional and composed manner.
- Arrive on time and be prepared with the necessary equipment (whistle, stopwatch, etc.).
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of flag football rules and regulations (training will be provided).
- Prior officiating experience is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication and conflict-resolution skills.
- Ability to work weekends.
- Must be at least 16 years old.
- A passion for youth sports and promoting teamwork, sportsmanship, and fair play.
