The Accounting Clerk is responsible for a wide range of general accounting duties to include all functions of AP/AR, positive pay file maintenance and reconciliation of various accounts and schedules. Performs all duties within the objectives, standards, and policies of Willis Automotive.

The Accounting Clerk is responsible for a wide range of general accounting duties to include all functions of AP/AR, positive pay file maintenance and reconciliation of various accounts and schedules. Performs all duties within the objectives, standards, and policies of Willis Automotive.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Posting and processing AP/AR in the CDK software application.
- Reconciling and posting credit card transactions.
- Post check payments
- Closing and posting internal repair orders daily.
- Maintaining Positive Pay file and reporting daily to the bank.
- Processing 1099s annually.
- Providing a high level of customer service across the dealership.
- Automotive accounting experience preferred but not required.
- Associates degree in Accounting preferred but not required.
- Detail oriented and organized in work.
- Ability to meet assigned deadlines.
- Proficient with email and Microsoft Office Applications.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work well with others and part of a team.
