Willis Knighton Health is seeking a medical assistant to work in a fast-paced urology clinic. The ideal candidate will need to demonstrate a strong work ethic, critical thinking and organization skills, attention to detail, flexibility, dependability, possess excellent communication skills, have a solid knowledge of computers, and have the initiative to work independently. We have an atmosphere of teamwork that we expect to continue with all new hires as you will work closely with the physicians, manager, nursing, and clerical staff as an integral component, assisting with the daily operations of our clinics. The medical assistant will assist with clerical and medical duties. The job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, giving excellent customer service, filing, data entry, the ability to perform vital signs, setting up urology procedures, cystoscopes, urodynamics, medication installation, medication management, insert catheters. She will assist in answering phone calls, refills and the scheduling of tests and procedures as ordered. Hospital and department orientation will be provided upon completion of the hiring process as well as training on our enterprise-wide practise management system, including health records. You will be required to work Monday through Friday, 8:00 to 5;00 pm.
