For over 22 years, Willis Mechanical has been a trusted and preferred commercial HVAC mechanical service and construction provider in and around Atlanta. Our mission and vision include taking care of and making life easier for our clients by providing outstanding customer service through highly skilled technicians. We provide ongoing service and new construction/renovations.

Willis Mechanical is adding a member to its accounting and human resources departments. This position will start as a part-time (2-3 days) opportunity with the potential to be full-time. This administrative role is vital to the organization's effectiveness.

Skills and Qualifications:

·         Bachelor’s or associate's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field

·         At least two years of experience working with payroll

·         Ability to create, manipulate, and use data on Excel spreadsheets

·         Excellent attention to detail

·         Exceptional mathematical and calculation skills

·         Verbal and written communication

·         Ability to work with a team and individually

·         Knowledge of different types of payroll software

·         Ability to multitask

Duties:

·         Checking timesheets for accuracy

·         Entering data into databases and spreadsheets

·         Handling direct deposit requests and data

·         Processing paper checks for distribution

·         Prepare and execute timely payments to vendors

·         Accurately review, verify, and process invoices received from vendors and suppliers.

·         Acquiring all necessary signatures to distribute payroll

·         Evaluate the accuracy of PTO, overtime, on-call, and holiday pay

·         Processing changes to payroll, such as raises, bonuses, and commissions

·         Maintaining employee confidence and protecting payroll operations by keeping information confidential

·         Assist employees in understanding issues related to their paychecks
