As the Hospitality Pastor at our Willow Wheaton location you are a passionate person who loves working with people, developing teams & leaders, and demonstrates high attention to detail. You understand the power of consistent, effective hospitality along the journey from site to seat. You will successfully lead large teams of volunteers and unleash them to cultivate warm, welcoming environments and touch points, for Willow Creek Community Church weekend services and special events, with an intentional consideration and focus towards first-time guests. Our Willow Wheaton location is a mobile campus hosting services at Wheaton Academy in Wheaton, IL with an average congregation size of around 500 people. The salary range for this position is between $47,000 - $64,000 and is dependent upon levels of experience and / or education.Job Responsibilities Oversee the communication and implementation of Teams' vision, strategy, and initiatives at your campus while maintaining quality and execution standards in support of the aligned ministry model.Support and promote the use of all technological platforms (i.e. Rock, ServeFinder, etc.) as the primary tool for volunteer recruitment, tracking, and data collection / analysis. Serve as a coach & problem-solver on the capabilities and workflow processes at your campus. Lead the planning and execution of Discover Willow and Volunteer Centrals at your campus, while enlisting and empowering volunteer teams for roles such as set-up / tear down, registrations / check-in, table facilitators / coaches, and follow-up connection teams.Build / cultivate a healthy, one-team Hospitality culture where volunteers are known and in relationship with others, encouraged, developed, and discipled in their relationship with Jesus.Effectively equip (knowledgeable & resourced) volunteers to operate from our ministry "why's" and consistently execute ministry strategy and hospitality best practices; Identify, develop, and coach volunteer leadersLead out on project management & planning of Impact Events (Christmas, Easter, World Food Fair, etc)Address customer service related challenges & issues in a timely, professional mannerFollow up with guests via email and phone. Schedule 1 : 1's with people who want to get connected, coach them to a next step (i.e. Discover Willow, baptism).Walk with new Christ-followers as they start their journey through resourcing, pastoral conversations and guiding towards a next step.Ensure weekend environments are guest-ready, including : Lobbies, Auditoriums, Coffee Shop / Spot, Next Steps environment and Parking LotMaintain updated supplies (ex. First-time guest gift & packaging, communion, volunteer apparel, lanyards, coffee shop / spot supplies)Oversee collection and submission of weekend service attendance metricsPerform the duties of a pastor as needed such as performing weddings and funerals, making hospital visits, providing crisis care assistance, etc.Partner with Willow's Security Director to provide management and care for campus-level security and medic volunteers.Manage and oversee day-to-day operations at the Ministry Center (staff offices) and ongoing, weekend operations at Wheaton Academy. Develop and maintain positive relational and contractual connections with community leaders, local officials, vendors, etc.Work with campus ministries to ensure smooth operations & functioning, across venues for weekend services and other events.Contributing, managing, and monitoring social media (commenting, responding) and the weekly emailSuccess is Defined As...
