We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Specialist to join our corporate office team.
Job Summary:
As a Payroll Specialist, you will be responsible for processing payroll for employees across multiple senior living communities, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations, and providing exceptional support to our staff. This role requires precision, confidentiality, and strong analytical skills.
Responsibilities:
- Process weekly payroll for corporate and community employees.
- Maintain accurate payroll records, including new hires, terminations, and changes in pay rates.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations.
- Reconcile payroll discrepancies and resolve employee payroll inquiries in a timely manner.
- Manage payroll deductions, benefits contributions, and garnishments.
- Generate payroll reports for management and accounting departments.
- Assist in year-end payroll processing, including W-2 preparation.
- Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to improve payroll processes and efficiency.
- Assist with HR responsibilities
Qualifications:
- 2 years of payroll processing experience, preferably in a multi-location or senior living/healthcare setting.
- Proficiency in payroll software (e.g., ADP, Paycom, UKG, or similar).
- Strong knowledge of payroll laws, tax regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, or related field preferred.
