We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our team at Willow Tree Care Center, a skilled nursing community in Delta, Colorado.

Job Summary
The Registered Occupational Therapist will provide diagnostic evaluations and treatment to assigned patients, with the goal of helping them reach their maximum performance level and utilize skills learned to function within their capabilities in the community.
Responsibilities
- Provide diagnostic evaluations and treatment to assigned patients
- Help patients reach maximum performance level and utilize skills learned to function within their capabilities in the community
- Consult on environmental design, adaptive equipment, patient positioning, and splinting
- Instruct patients in adapted techniques and use of adaptive equipment for meal preparation, home management, dressing, feeding, and self-care skills
- Train patients in upper-extremity prosthetic devices to resume daily routines
- Provide therapy for neurological integration, sensor-motor integration, and visual perceptual-motor remediation
- Design and provide individualized therapy for adult learning-disabled patients
- Design and/or fabricate slings and adaptive equipment to meet patient needs
- Provide prevention therapy to maintain functional skills and instruct patients in energy conservation, joint protection, safety techniques, and transferring
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in occupational therapy required
- Current registration with the American Occupational Therapy Association required
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software
- Ability to use tools used to make adaptive equipment
- Demonstrated ability to read, write, and speak English sufficient to fulfill job requirements
