YOUR ROLE WITH THE COMPANY :
The Executive Pastry Chef is responsible for managing all pastry operations of the restaurant. Primary duties and responsibilities include :
Oversee both the production and service teams within the pastry department, ensuring seamless operation and coordination
Act as a liaison with the GM and CDC, ensuring that all demands and requests are met with flexibility and precision
Handle a variety of tasks, always adhering to the high standards of the restaurant
Foster a structured environment where systems are crucial yet provide the flexibility for creative input and menu changes
Maintain the highest standards in cleanliness, organization, and technical execution
Complete performance counseling paperwork, manage ordering, and oversee inventory responsibilities
Role requires extensive long-term training before opening, potentially out of state / area
BACKGROUND PROFILE :
4 years of experience as an Executive Pastry Chef (or comparable role) with a high volume ($8M ) fine dining restaurant
Michelin experience strongly preferred
Must be an independent worker and possess proven management skills
Have strong interpersonal and communication skills
Passionate, energetic, detail oriented, and a passion for hospitality
