Wage:
- $15.50/hr
Responsibilities:
- Assists with the Therapeutic Recreation programs as directed by the Therapeutic Recreation Supervisor.
- Plans, organizes and implements regularly scheduled day and evening programs, seven days a week and holidays.
- Organizes and coordinates special outings and accompanies Residents on outings such as lunch outings, sightseeing rides, or picnics to make Residents aware of available recreational resources per supervisor request.
- Creatively meets individuals’ activity desires.
- Gathers and returns Residents for all programming during shift
- Completes initial assessment on Residents upon admission.
- Attends weekly meetings, providing input on Resident status.
- Plans for upcoming weekly programs.
- Visits Residents on a regular one-to-one basis.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience is preferred, but not required.
Hours:
- 40 hours/week
Schedule:
- Monday-Friday 9:30am-5:30pm every other weekend and every other holiday
