What are the responsibilities and job description for the HR Manager - Smart Buildings position at Willow?

You will be joining a team of performance-driven Willowers, backed by the most advanced technology the built world has ever seen.
The Human Resource Manager will lead and direct the essential functions of the Human Resources (HR) department including hiring and interviewing staff, administering pay, benefits, and leave, and enforcing company policies and practices. The HR Manager will also lead employee initiatives, providing strong guidance and support for managers on performance management, compensation reviews, and employee engagement.
\n- Oversees the daily workflow of the department,
- Leads the performance review process
- Initiates and supports the employee lifecycle process including performance management, employee engagement, internal mobility and offboarding.
- Partner with the leadership team to understand and execute Willow's people strategy, talent strategy, retention and succession planning.
- Provide support and guidance to HR generalists, management, and other staff when complex, specialized, and sensitive questions and issues arise.
- Maintains compliance with federal, state and local employment laws and regulations
- Maintaining knowledge of best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management and employment law.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required. SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP highly desired
- Previous experience in a growth SaaS company
- Previous experience in supporting executives to implement People Strategies across multiple regions
- Thorough knowledge of employment related laws and regulations
