What are the responsibilities and job description for the Banquet Server position at Willowbrook Weddings?
We're seeking part time, high energy individuals with a passion for service! The position at our wedding venue is weekend based with weddings taking place mostly Fridays and Saturdays as well as the occasional Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday {especially in the fall. And yes, holidays too!}. A great way to make a second stream of income with fun work, because who doesn't want to spend each weekend at a party?!
**position begins 4/12, Training to take place prior**
Responsibilities to include:
- assisting with set up and tear down of all event needs from tables, chairs, place setting items, bar ware, etc.
- delivering guest meals to dining area on service trays
- passing appetizers during cocktail hour
- bussing glassware and place setting items from guest tables
- packing event equipment on company vehicle
- set up and tear down of ceremony chairs
- filling guest containers such as water pitchers, butter dishes, dressing carafes, etc.
- possible light cleaning duties
- possible parking attendant duties
- possible minimal kitchen assistance like building salads
Schedule / Availability:
- Weddings are a weekend based industry, so weekend dedication is a must for this position. A detailed schedule for April - November can be provided upon request (weddings do book a year in advance, so we know our schedule for the season now which means you will to!).
- Shifts typically look like 2-10PM/ 4-Midnight / etc. and can occasionally be longer or shorter pending the event timing.
