The Director of Infrastructure Management is responsible for the effective management of the Information Technology Infrastructure organization to provide timely, customer oriented, and efficient service of the highest quality. This position will be part of the Chief Information Officer?s leadership team which provides oversight and strategic IT vision for Tanner Medical Center, Inc. The incumbent will manage the Tanner IT Infrastructure organization and as such be accountable for the IT Infrastructure functions: data center, telephony, network, desktop, servers, and storage. Additionally, the Director of Infrastructure Management will lead Disaster Recovery and Infrastructure related projects. Performs the function of the chief security officer and is responsible for the operational security function.

Qualifications
- A minimum of 10 years experience in healthcare application management and or IT applications management with proven staff, managerial, and communication skills will be accepted in lieu of degree.
- Ability to conduct effective working relationships with all levels of management is required.
- Ability to effectively work in matrix organizations.
- Analytical ability and problem solving ability with skills to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization is also required.
- Demonstrated problem solving and inductive reasoning skills which manifest themselves in both individual and group settings.
- Demonstrates interest in employee development and ability in interpersonal communication, especially exhibiting sensitivity to employee needs.

- Has the ability to identify, evaluate, and assimilate factors essential to analyzing a problem for a successful resolution.
- Highly developed communication skills, successfully demonstrated in effectively working with a wide variety of people in both individual and group settings.
- Knowledge of asset and software license management best practices.
- May require regional travel to Tanner Medical Center, Inc. facilities.
- MBA or Masters of Healthcare or related degree is preferred.
- Most work is carried out in an office or conference room setting at Tanner Medical Center, Inc. office or other Tanner Medical Center, Inc. facilities. Occasionally required to participate in Tanner Medical Center, Inc. activities on evenings or weekends and at affiliate facilities.
- Must be extremely flexible, able to determine priorities and shift from one project or responsibility to another without losing track of assignments and associated time frames.
- Position requires a minimum of a Bachelors degree in Information Systems or related field.
- Position requires ability to concentrate on large amounts of detail and to track multiple activities simultaneously.
- Process knowledge of ITIL v3 framework
- Provides leadership as indicated by the ability to get individuals or groups to accomplish a task or embrace an idea or concept.
- Requires ability to sustain efforts in the face of stresses, changing priorities and interruptions in work.
