The primary focus of this position is to lead and develop strong project management process and procedures for the IT function. This role will ensure IT projects are scheduled and resourced appropriately, monitor and track progress and report on any roadblocks.
Key Responsibilities
- Leverage project management practices will ensure project are scheduled and resourced appropriately and articulating the interdependencies of various projects
- Apply project management discipline and expertise for projects throughout the full lifecycle and assess / manage risk
- Facilitate stakeholder and project prioritization meetings
- Facilitate Business Case creation and benefit measurement post implementation
- Manage the project portfolio in accordance with the company objectives
- Manage the onboarding and off boarding of Enterprise Applications
- Ensure adherence to industry standard engineering and architecture disciplines
- Work closely with operations, business and Infrastructure teams to ensure a complete and quality product is turned over to production
- Ensure appropriate controls and project financials are maintained and reported accurately
- Communicate project status and needs / issues in a timely manner, performed regularly and on an established communication plan

- Experience in implementing project management discipline for an organization
- Bachelor's Degree in CIS or PMP, preferred
- Minimum 5-10 years of experience managing both software and hardware programs
- Experience with ERP software packages, various reporting tools, Microsoft Office, and program management tools
- Knowledge of software systems development life cycle
- Knowledge of business requirements development as well as design, build, test, configuration and implementation process for application and system software and hardware implementation projects
- Strong knowledge of ITIL
- Excellent customer service, verbal and written communication skills
- Strong documentation skills
- Experience working in a SOX compliant environment
