SUMMARY: |
The CFC Front Desk Staff holds the primary responsibility for membership services, CFC information services, and all front desk operational procedures for the facility. The Customer Service Assistant is responsible for receiving and directing callers, assisting patrons both in person and by phone, processing class registrations and providing information to the public. |
ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES include the following (other duties may be assigned):

Open and/or close the CFC, which includes, but is not limited to, balancing cash register and charge machine; processing daily cash deposits; initializing and/or shutting down front desk computers and facility equipment; restocking facility amenities.

Process member and daily guest check-in.

Serve as primary contact with members as far as customer service needs; address customer complaints and resolve problems where possible; forward those issues that cannot be adequately resolved to management.

Process group exercise class attendance, which includes running computer generated registration lists and preparing attendance card system.

Clean all equipment daily including the fitness floor cardio equipment, spin studio, studio A and free weight area.

Inventory facility supplies (i.e., office, locker room, membership application information).

Run laundry equipment for facility towel service and inventory laundry supplies.

Ensure that members follow safety rules and procedural policies of the facility.

Complete daily time sheet.

Read facility communications log and intradepartmental communications daily; follow facility procedure for arranging substitutions and shift coverage in employee’s absence.

Attend staff meetings as scheduled.

Adhere to requirement to wear facility-issued uniforms.

Assist management in any long and short-term goals for operational plans and programs for the CFC.

Deliver high-level, courteous customer service to members, guests and potential members.

Actively contribute to the Park Districts’ sustainability goals
Schedule: 20 hours/week, including some weekday morning and weekend morning shifts

Weekdays: 6:00 - 10:30 AM

Saturdays: 7:00 AM - 1:00 PM
SAFETY RESPONSIBILITIES

Actively support the safety program that will effectively control and reduce accidents and injuries.

Obey all Park District and Departmental safety rules, regulations and procedures established by the Wilmette Park District that are pertinent to the activities conducted by the department.

Promptly report to the CFC Manager all unsafe actions, practices or conditions observed.

Attend and participate in required safety training.

Qualifications
Salary : $16
