Job Summary: The Youth Basketball League Attendant is responsible for monitoring the entrance and exit of league facilities during youth basketball league games and practices.Games begin January 13, 2024, Saturdays 8 am - 2 pm and Sundays, 8 am - 6 pm
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- None
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
- Monitor the gymnasium entrance and exit during league games
- Actively support the agencys risk management protocol that will effectively control and reduce accidents
- Promptly respond to all unsafe actions, practices or conditions and report them to the Gym Supervisor
- Create a safe, engaging environment through the framework of basketball games
- Perform other related duties as assigned, based on agency needs
- Ensure league facility entrance and exit remains clean and free of any obstructions
- Positively interact with players, coaches, spectators and other Park District Staff
- Communicate with league participants, parents, coaches, officials, and other Park District staff, supervisors and team leaders as needed
Required Skills/Abilities (Technology, Mathematical, Language):

Education and/or Experience:
- Must be at least 16 years of age or obtain a valid work permit prior to start date
Physical Requirements/Work Environment:
- Must be able to work weekends
- Must be able lift up to 15 pounds at a time
