Purpose:
The Materials Coordinator provides assistance with various purchasing functions will assist the department by verifying all incoming and outgoing shipments.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
- Reports to and assist the Material and Inventory Manager
- Place orders with vendors via phone, email, website or fax
- Match packing slips with PO’s to verify order fulfillment & resolve any issues
- Maintain ENVI (Purchasing software) information
- Facilitate returns for items that are ordered incorrectly or damaged in transit
- Notify department manager of backorders/recalls
- Reconcile freight/financial/receiving discrepancies in the invoice processing in ENVI
- Reconcile sterile supply inventory and replenish as needed
- Assist with other projects as needed
- Demonstrates behaviors consistent with the Company’s Vision, Mission, and Values in all interactions with customers, co-workers, and suppliers.
- Count, or measure items in incoming and outgoing shipments, verity information against invoices, orders and other records
- Keep all bins, aisles and storage areas clean and clearly labeled
- Unpack and examine incoming shipments, reject damaged items, record shortages, and correspond with shipper to rectify damages and shortages
- Enter necessary data into computer for accurate tracking and inventory management
- Make sure orders are tracked and shelves are stocked.
- Adheres to all company safety standards

Qualifications:
Required:
- A high school diploma or the equivalent
- Organizational skills
- Strong communication skills
- Multi-tasking
- The ability to lift up to 75 pounds
- Driver’s License with good record.
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information
- One year of experience in a retail or wholesale parts department
- Ability to stand, walk and/or sit for prolonged periods
- Ability to work in various working conditions both indoors and outdoors, including but not limited to extreme heat and/or cold, and rain
- Ability to kneel, bend, and/or reach above the shoulders
Preferred:
- College courses in business management/supply management
- Surgical Tech experience
