What are the responsibilities and job description for the RN/LPN (GI) - Silver Stream - Full-Time position at Wilmington Health PLLC?

Purpose:
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
- Maintains patient confidentiality.
- Performs triage of patients and prioritizes care needs.
- Utilizes nursing process effectively in assessing patient needs and planning appropriate follow-up/intervention.
- Document’s assessment and interventions thoroughly and concisely
- Develops patient education materials, triage protocols, and clinical guidelines in collaboration with physicians.
- Uses computer system efficiently and accurately.
- Provides patient/staff education.
- Oversees Paramedics and Certified Medical Assistants

Performs specialty procedures as trained and as needed, including, but not limited to:
- IV therapy
- Medication administration
- EKGs
- Assists with procedures.
Other Duties:
- Performs other duties and projects as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
- North Carolina or Compact RN license
- Associate of Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
- Valid NC Driver’s License and reliable transportation
- Full COVID 19 vaccination is required as a condition of employment for all position with Wilmington Health. Documentation is required prior to orientation.
Preferred:
- Experienced Emergency Nurse
- Certifications: ACLS, TNCC, ENPC, PALS
