REPORTS TO: Operations Manager
Job Summary: Provides a friendly and efficient patient experience when patients call the practice. Responsible for answering telephones, emails, text messages, maintaining patient files, distributing daily correspondence, check in/out patients, and other administrative tasks.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma.
- Basic typing, English and mathematical skills.
- Two year experience with phones and computers in a medical office.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Answers the phone in a friendly and helpful manner.
- Schedule and reschedule appointments.
- Maintains organized patient files.
- Greets and orients patients as they arrive for their appointments.
- Assists patients as they check in/out, i.e., scheduling next appointment, completing the superbill, accepting payment, etc.
- Verify demographics in medical software.
- Scan and file medical records.
- Distributes received faxes/mail electronically and manually.
- Compiles new patient information packages.
- Reviews, copies, and distributes correspondence.
- Maintains proper office opening and closing procedures.
- Keeps inventory of spa products and clerical supplies.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
