Job Overview:
We are seeking dedicated & enthusiastic teachers and qualified young adults to join our team.
This role requires a passion for education and the ability to engage with children and adults alike. Prior Aquatics experience is not needed and all training will be provided.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for teaching swimming techniques to individuals of all ages and skill levels, ensuring a safe and enjoyable learning environment.
Duties:
- Conduct swim lessons for various age groups
- Monitor students' progress and provide constructive feedback to help them improve their skills
- Ensure the safety of all participants by enforcing pool rules and maintaining a vigilant watch during lessons
- Collaborate with other instructors and staff to create engaging lesson
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pool area and equipment
- Provide first aid and emergency response as needed, ensuring all safety measures are adhered to
Qualifications:
- Experience in childcare or working with children is highly desirable
- Previous experience as a swim instructor or lifeguard is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate individuals of all ages
- Certification in CPR/First Aid is preferred; willingness to obtain certification if not currently held
