We are excited to introduce our new facility in Cedarburg, WI.
Wilo USA LLC is a subsidiary of Wilo SE, one of the leading manufacturers of pumps & pump systems for heating, cooling & air-conditioning solutions, water supply, and sewage & drainage.
Our company has undergone significant growth, acquiring Weil Pump and Scot Pump in 2017, American-Marsh Pumps in 2019, QuantumFlo in October 2021, HydroServe in 2023, and Plad in 2023.
New manufacturing facility with climate control, natural lighting, and an on-site gym with personal trainer.
We are located approximately 30 minutes north of Milwaukee.
Job Summary
The Quality Intern will participate in various quality initiatives, focusing on supporting the company's preparation for ISO certification.
This role offers the opportunity to work on implementation processes, develop and organize support documents, and assist with ongoing quality-related projects.
The intern will gain hands-on experience in quality management, collaborate closely with team members, and contribute to improving internal quality processes.
This is a flexible role, allowing tasks to be tailored as we progress through the summer.
Requirements
- Mandatory Qualifications:
- Enrolled in a bachelor's degree program in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Quality Management, or related field.
- Strong technical skills (knowledge of quality management tools and methodologies).
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal).
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Enthusiasm for learning about quality systems and processes.
- Desirable Qualifications:
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 or other quality standards.
- Experience with process mapping or documentation.
- Understanding of lean principles or Six Sigma methodology.
- Previous internship or project experience in quality management or related fields.
