The Senior Accountant assists in the day-to-day accounting functions for a 600 person operation.
Key Responsibilities
- Bank reconciliations.
- Balance sheet reconciliations.
- Post accrual entries and journal entries.
- Prepare financial statements.
- Maintain budget according to schedules.
- Prepare and maintain the general ledger, and journal entries, including payroll.
- Support month, quarter, and year-end close process.
- Assist in monthly KPI reporting.
- Trend analysis.
- Assist with reporting accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Ad hoc reporting as needed.
- Bring a team-oriented and positive attitude to our Los Angeles office.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting. CPA is a plus.
- Real Estate experience required.
- At least seven years of progressive accounting experience. Law firm experience a plus.
- Advanced Excel skills including Pivot Tables, V-Look Ups, and Logic Functions.
- Knowledge of finance, budgeting, cost accounting, cost control and GAAP principles.
- Ability to make fiscal projections based on historical trends, anticipated changes and/or goals.
- Excellent organizational and follow through skills, and the ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and as a team in a fast-paced, detail oriented
- Must possess a keen attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality work.

- Compensation range based on experience: $80,000 - $110,000
