The Opportunity
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Social Media Strategist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing innovative social media strategies that enhance our brand presence, engage our audience, and drive measurable results. You will lead content creation efforts, manage social media campaigns, and utilize analytics to inform decision-making. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in social media management, content creation, and advertising, with a passion for staying ahead of industry trends.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies aligned with business goals.
• Manage and oversee all social media platforms, ensuring consistent messaging and branding.
• Create engaging content for various formats and platforms including text, photography, and video.
• Social listening to monitor brand sentiment and identify opportunities for engagement, leveraging current and burgeoning trends.
• Analyze performance metrics, providing reporting, insights and creative intuition to assess effectiveness and make adjustments to strategies as needed.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate social media efforts with broader marketing initiatives.
• Proofread all content to ensure accuracy and adherence to brand guidelines.
• Stay updated on the latest trends in social media marketing and technology.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in social media management, with 3 years of strategic work and 1 year(s) of people management experience.
• Portfolio that showcases your ability to create engaging content showcasing a well-defined and strategic brand voice.
• Skilled in content creation; development of video editing and graphic design.
• Familiarity with advertising on platforms such as Google and Facebook.
• Excellent relationship management and interpersonal skills with a focus on collaboration.
• Ability to analyze data from social media analytics tools to inform strategy and execute those strategic plans.
• Experience with social listening tools to gauge audience sentiment and reputation management.
• Keen eye for quality, aesthetics and accuracy.
