SUMMER LEARNING CAMP DISTRICT INSTRUCTIONAL COACH
This position is only open to current Wilson County Schools Employees.
JOB GOAL
Oversee the Summer Learning Camps during the summer of 2025.
QUALIFICATIONS
Preference will be given to applicants with Administrative licensure (ILL-A, ILL-B, ILL-P).
REPORTS TO Federal Programs Supervisor and Interventionist Coordinator

SCHEDULE 8 hour work day

- Thursday, May 8, 2025 - 4 : 00-6 : 00 pm in-person training @ ATC

Prior to Summer Camps :
Create teaching schedules for teachersSet-up the site in coordination with the building principalCommunicate with teachers assigned to the respective Summer Camp locationCommunicate with students attending respective Summer Camp locationOther duties as assignedDuring the Summer Camps :
Creation and implementation of teaching strategies and programs to all site locationsProvision of support and feedback to Learning Camp instructors and othersImplement and oversee student disciplinary procedures pursuant to the Wilson County Schools Code of ConductEnsure all health protocols are implemented to maintain student and staff safetyImplement attendance protocols and documentation maintenanceMonitor student arrival and dismissal and supervise area during lunch and snackEnsure staffing coverage is in place for staff absences during the Learning Camp sessionCommunicate with stakeholders as necessary and required, prior to and during summer learning sessions (including parents, teachers, students, Transportation, ATC staff, Food Service, etc.)Participate in orientation sessions scheduled prior to the Learning Camp as required belowMaintain accurate records as required for the Summer Learning Camp sessionAdminister pre- and post-tests and report results to District pursuant to established proceduresCommunicate with District-leadership on progress of Learning Camp classroom, including compilation of student data following Learning Camp and an exit interview on your experience following the term of the 2025 Learning CampCompliance with all applicable Board policies and procedures and applicable State and federal statutes and regulationsMust have completed medical designee training and be willing to administer medications as neededOther duties as assigned.TEMPERAMENT (Personal Traits)
