We are seeking an entry-level Construction Management Technician to join our team. This position requires 40 hours per week working in the field in various locations around the greater Phoenix Metropolitan area. (This job is not remote nor hybrid.)
Join our team as a Construction Management Technician, where you’ll play a vital role in supporting construction management staff through all project phases—from preconstruction to construction. This entry-level position provides hands-on experience, professional growth opportunities, and the chance to work alongside experienced engineers and construction managers in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
As a Construction Management Technician, you will contribute to construction projects by assisting with fieldwork, construction project documentation, and project coordination while receiving comprehensive training and mentorship.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist with construction management tasks on multiple projects, including preconstruction services, and construction administration.
- Perform field inspections, collect test data, and provide support for civil, mechanical, electrical, or instrumentation construction activities.
- Assist with reviewing submittals, RFIs, and engineering directives / clarifications.
- Support construction managers with monitoring project schedules, tracking milestones, and reporting progress.
- Prepare meeting agendas, schedule meetings, and document meeting minutes accurately.
- Support key construction project documentation management.
- Coordinate with sub-consultants, contractors, and utility providers to help advance project goals.
- Support the preparation, organization, and review of daily, weekly, and monthly reports, and other project documents.
- Collaborate effectively with internal teams, including engineering staff, inspection staff, and administrative staff.
- Communicate clearly with project stakeholders, including clients, consultants, and team members.
