Position Summary:
Wilson Investment Management is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Accounting Operations Specialist to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a vital role in supporting our accounting and investment operations and ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our financial processes.
Responsibilities:
- General Cash Management:
- Process cash receipts and disbursements.
- Obtain consent for cash distributions.
- Monitor cash flow for individuals and family office.
- Assist with cash flow modeling for investment partnerships .
- Basic Accounting:
- Perform bank reconciliations.
- Maintain accurate entity bookkeeping records.
- Code credit card transactions.
- Reporting Backup:
- Assist with monthly performance reporting packages.
- Support performance reporting activities.
- Update and track weekly trades in the underlying investment portfolios.
- Other Duties:
- Participate in special projects as assigned.
- Process invoices through Bill.com.
- Track insurance policies and related information.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in accounting or financial operations.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions.
- Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) a plus.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
