Description:
Under the general supervision of the education manager and according to established policies and procedures, the Clinical Educator coordinates the training of other nursing and ancillary personnel.
The goal is to maintain educational requirements and professional standards in accordance with hospital policies and state regulations.
This position requires effective communication and teaching skills to ensure successful training outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement educational programs for nursing staff
- Coordinate training sessions and materials
- Evaluate training effectiveness and make recommendations for improvement
- Maintain accurate records of employee training
Qualifications:
Minimum Education:
Graduation from a school of nursing with unrestricted or active current NC or multistate RN licensure required.
One to two years of professional nursing experience is preferred.
Required Skills:
The employee must have the ability to understand, communicate, and teach effectively regarding the unique needs of geriatric patients.
Current BLS certification is required, or obtained during the first week of hire.
