What are the responsibilities and job description for the Wilmington Restructuring Associate position at Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati PC?
We are seeking a candidate with 1-3 years of restructuring experience, including in-court restructurings.
Associates will have an opportunity to work closely with a collaborative team of attorneys who provide active mentoring and ongoing training. You will be given the opportunity to assume a high level of responsibility and direct client contact to gain a wide range of experience. Strong drafting skills, as well as superior academic credentials, and excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills, are required. Successful candidates will sit in Wilmington.
We represent private and public companies, boards of directors, management, owners, creditors, lenders, investors, and acquirors in the full spectrum of restructuring strategies and transactions, including financial recapitalizations, business reorganizations, acquisitions, and liquidations. Our clients span a broad range of industries, including biotechnology, medical devices, retail, manufacturing, transportation, energy, health case and financial services. We also counsel on insolvency and restructuring issues, as well as corporate governance matters for distressed companies.
Compensation and Benefits
Salary range of $225,000 – $260,000, based on year classification.
Discretionary merit bonuses may also be awarded.
