Shift runs from 6:00am - 4:30pm Monday through Thursday.  We offer an attractive starting wage of $21.91-- $26.08 depending on experience, scheduled increases and a full benefit package.

Position Summary

These individuals are responsible for all maintenance required within the company.  The maintenance work can be a wide variety of assignments and these individuals must be flexible.  Maintenance responsibilities range from gathering parts from stores in town to fixing the automated track for the paint system.  These people must be mechanically inclined to maintenance any machinery and/or tools that may need attention.

Essential Functions Statement(s)

• Perform a safety inspection of hoist chains, forklifts, and all tools used to ensure safety.
• Operate the POS systems properly (clock in, adjust inventory when necessary, look up prints, etc.).
• Ability to read and understand prints of machines and other items to be able to identify and fix issues that arise.
• Must be flexible concerning what tasks are assigned, as they change often.
• Maintain the grounds and sprinkler system as assigned.
• Coordinate and perform the TPM for the Plant as delegated.
• Must be mechanically inclined to maintenance many kinds of machinery and tools as needed.
• Organize parts throughout the maintenance shop, so that they can be found easily.
• Ability to read and understand a tape measure.
• Keep a clean and organized work area at all times.
• This individual is responsible for the above functions, but is not limited to them and is subject to other tasks as assigned.

 Skills and Abilities

Education: High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED).

Experience: Must be at least eighteen years of age.

Computer Skills: Average; ability to navigate computer systems for various tasks.

Communication: Ability to read, write, comprehend and communicate clearly and concisely using the English Language.

Certificates & Licenses: Current qualification to drive forklift. Current certification to weld.

Other Requirements: Must have the ability to meet physical demands.  The physical demands do vary from job to job and season to season as lawn care in the summer, snow removal in the winter, etc. becomes necessary.
