As a Machine Operator at Wilson Workforce Solutions LLC, you will be responsible for setting up and operating precision equipment to manufacture high-quality products. Your attention to detail and mechanical aptitude will ensure accurate and efficient production processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review job packets for setups and job-specific information
- Set up jobs on the machine, including clamps, shims, wedges, and various tooling to physically secure the job
- Identify, locate, and load items using equipment as needed (cranes, fork trucks, etc.)
- Loading programs and verifying accuracy through either a test run (if possible) or verifying accuracy as the job is being worked on
- Writing basic programs and editing Cam programs
- Continually monitoring the job and ensuring accuracy and speeds
- Continually improving the process by finding, documenting, and implementing more efficient ways to complete the job (updated programming, positioning, tooling, etc.)
- Cleaning up finished product by de-burring, wiping down, etc.
- Unloading finished product from the machine and ensuring it moves on to its next work center
- Maintaining a safe, clean working environment
- Making management aware of any issues with the machine or consumables
