YOUR DAY IN THE LIFE
Wilson seeks an ambitious and driven individual who has strong technical accounting skills, acquired through corporate or public accounting experience and experience developing systems and processes in a growth environment. The role is hybrid with Tuesdays and Thursdays on-site in Tampa, FL.
YOU WILL:
- Investigating significant trends/variances in financial data
- Providing daily and/or weekly analysis, and reporting on operational performance
- Assisting in the formulation of the revenue forecast and preparing the monthly variance analysis
- Enhance, maintain, and align with a system of internal controls
- Assist with the maintenance of a documented system of accounting policies and procedures
- Collaborative Interaction with management and other department leaders
- Handle the accounting operations of subsidiary corporations, especially their control systems, transaction-processing operations, and policies and procedures
- Manage all monthly bank reconciliation to completion
- Maintain and reconcile the general ledger ensuring compliance with GAAP standards.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or similar major.
- At least 3 years of accounting experience. Knowledge in the service industry would be preferred but not required.
