Job Description

Wimmer Communities is a family-owned, locally operated, multi-faceted real estate development, brokerage, construction, and property management firm. Wimmer currently owns and operates over thirty properties throughout southeastern Wisconsin and many more exciting, high-quality properties are currently under construction!

Wimmer Communities is currently seeking a summer Marketing Intern to join our team of talented professionals. Come join us!

Pay : $15-16 / hour

Hours : Part-time, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 8 am-3 pm or otherwise agreed upon

Essential Duties :

Assist in marketing and advertising promotional activities (e.g., social media, direct mail, and web)
Assist with the setup of new marketing initiatives.
Maintain and enhance existing marketing initiatives.
Prepare and distribute marketing materials.
Help organize the marketing for company-sponsored events.
Perform market analysis and research on the competition.
Assist with other projects as assigned.

Qualifications :

Enrolled in a bachelor’s or associate degree program. Preferably within the marketing field.

Solid understanding of different marketing techniques.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Good computer skills; working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and use of web-based services.

Familiarity with online applications (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter)

Quick learner.

Passion for the marketing industry and its best practices.

Basic understanding of digital imaging and illustration

Familiarity with graphic design software (adobe inDesign and Illustrator)
