Job Summary:
The primary objective of the Workforce Development Coordinator is to impart knowledge to individuals being served on effective strategies for conducting a job search, securing employment, and maintaining long-term employment. This Coordinator's operations are specifically targeted towards serving individuals in Westmoreland County. They will fulfill the role of a career advisor and counselor, providing personalized one-on-one case management services. Moreover, they will offer additional resources beyond employment services to assist eligible individuals facing significant obstacles in obtaining employment.
Furthermore, the Workforce Development Coordinator will contribute to training and educational efforts while offering supportive services to address the specific needs that impact the job readiness of the individuals they serve. Collaborating with the Program Director, they will actively manage and leverage the network of local employers, community organizations, and non-profit entities. The purpose of this mutually beneficial collaboration is to create a direct link between individuals seeking assistance and prospective employers, along with other support services. Additionally, the Workforce Development Coordinator will support the Program Director in arranging job fairs, events sponsored by employers, and various outreach initiatives. These efforts aim to broaden the current network of employers and service organizations affiliated with WIN.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
- Preferred Education — BA/BS University degree with a concentration in Human Resources, Social Work or related fields.
- Preferred Experience — 2-3 Years Related Experience as an Employment Specialist; Related experience working with RCO’s, SUDS and individuals in recovery.
- Required Proficiencies – Microsoft Office Suite, Experience CRM Platforms and Case Management Softwares.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen, background checks and clearances.
