Job Description:
Winchester Hospital, a member of Beth Israel Lahey Health, has an opportunity for Manager of Hospital Quality, Analytics and Performance Improvement. Reporting to our Associate Chief Nursing Officer of Quality & Patient Safety, this professional licensed leader contributes to the Hospital’s mission by being responsible for the Hospital’s Quality, Analytics, and Performance Improvement department. As a member of the Hospital’s leadership team, this role will have an impact on our ability to develop and implement quality and performance improvement plans in order to identify and achieve optimum quality outcomes and patient safety objectives within our Top 10 Massachusetts recognized 229-bed hospital.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education
Required: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
5-year Requirement: Master’s Degree in Nursing or relevant field (e.g. MPH)
Preferred:
Master’s Degree in Nursing or a relevant field upon hire
Juris Doctorate Degree
Experience
Required:
At least three (3) years of progressively more responsible experience in performance improvement and/or quality initiatives
At least two (2) years of Registered Nurse patient care experience.
Experience with leading Performance Improvement teams and initiatives.
Preferred:
At least one year of supervisory experience
At least five years of hospital-based nursing experience
Budget management experience.
LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS, CERTIFICATIONS:
Required: Current Massachusetts Registered Nursing License
Preferred:
Professional Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) certification.
